Buddhism is a religious philosophy which does not believe in a personal God who punishes our wrong-doings and rewards our good-doings personally and individually.

The Buddha Statue represents the Enlightment truth of the Four Truths.

The Four Noble Truths are:

  • Suffering is part of life
  • What causes suffering is craving
  • When the craving stops, the suffering stops also
  • The only way to conquer the cravings and suffering is to follow the Noble Eighfold Path. And that path is to be in/with the right views, aspiration, speech, conduct, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, contemplation.

In Buddhism the individual is not recognized. "Karma" is all that happens. Following all of the Noble Eightfold Path steps the individuals reach an enlightened pure state “nirvana”.
